We are dedicated to serving the small towns and rural areas of Northwest Iowa.
N.E.T. Broadband is made up of North West REC and Evertek Inc., two locally owned and operated companies concerned about the rural areas of Northwest Iowa. It is our goal to provide high speed Internet to these areas that have been passed over by the major operators.

Evertek
Is a subsidiary of United Farmers Telephone Company established in 1905. UFTC was created to offer the towns of Everly and Moneta with local telephone service. In 1989, Evertek was created and began to offer Cable TV and Wireless Cable TV to the surrounding rural areas of Northwest Iowa. (In 1998, Evertek began to work on a Wireless Internet Solution and has several sites that offer a 30 mile radius around towers located in Everly, Palmer, Quimby, and Sioux City.) In December of 2001, Evertek launched the first successful deployment of a non-line of sight broadband system. www.evertek.net
North West REC
Is a consumer-owned electric distribution utility, which provides electric service to 8,500 members. Those members (made up of farm, residential, commercial, industrial and irrigation customers) are the reason NWREC exists. NWREC strives to provide their members with a reliable source of electric power that is competitively priced and to provide other services that enhance their quality of life. www.nwrec.com
